beautiful akc yorkshire terrier puppies Southeast Texas Yorkies Waiting List

Many people contact us wanting a puppy right away and depending on litter sizes, that is certainly an option. We have set up our waiting list to allow buyers to choose the specific qualities they would like. Depending on the length of our waiting list and litter size, the wait can sometimes be 6 months before one of our puppies comes available. We are purposefully a small and exclusive kennel. We also devote a full 15 weeks to each of our puppies. However, buyers on our waiting list are welcome to visit our kennel any time. We also send photographs and other media so that buyers can begin to establish their relationship with the new puppy as soon as possible. We only approve families that have demonstrated to us that they are ready for a long term commitment.

We take a very personal approach to assisting each buyer in choosing the perfect Yorkie . Because our approach is so very personal, We maintain a high level of contact with our new families; answering questions, phone calls, and emails take up a great deal of our day, when litters are born, contact increases. We feel this is important for us to get to know our new families so that we can prepare their Yorkie specifically for them.

The best things in life are always worth the wait

Please email us for availability---we have occasional litters, and only plan litters when we have enough interest in a waiting list, or are breeding in order to add to our foundation stock, or show potential. Rarely, do we have puppies available outside of the waiting list Availability is subject to change weekly, so check back if you are looking for a Yorkie during a particular season/time-frame.

How the Paid Deposit Waiting List works

Submit your application and indicate the time frame you would prefer to adopt your Yorkie . We can give you a general idea of the upcoming litters, and approximate wait. I will notify you after reviewing your application of approval or denial of application. Submission of deposit; online transfer, bank deposit; or Pay-pal must be received within 5 days of approval, to be placed on the waiting list.

Once we have received your application and deposit, we will keep in touch with updates on your Yorkie , and other pertinent information to the adoption of your Yorkie .

We take a certain number of deposits each year. When you are on a waiting list for a particular litter or season where more than one litter is planned; we will keep in touch via email with updates on the announcements page along the way. We usually have litters every 3 to 6 months, but due to nature and situations out of our control, (ex. a breeding not resulting in a pregnancy, single birth, etc) we will give you a spot on the next available litter if one of these situations arise or refund of any payments beyond the deposit will be made. Many families ask me what I think about personality of our puppies, and if I feel the puppies are so different there could be a possibility they will not have a match in the litter they chose to wait for. Here is my opinion on the subject: am a firm believer that puppies each develop unique personalities and their natural tendencies. I find personality testing to be important in evaluating each individual Yorkie in order to find the best environment for it.

That being said, ALL of our puppies have very loving and generally easy going sweet temperaments. It is the nature of their breeds, and any of the puppies; from a given litter would make a wonderful pet for a family. I work with all of my breeding stock to ensure they have the right temperament for breeding BEFORE breeding them. If I see unsatisfactory traits in an animal they are not considered for my breeding program.; The differences between the temperaments/personalities of each Yorkie that we are testing for are their natural tendencies.; An example in what a Yorkie 's natural tendencies could be are Alphas (outgoing, assertive) Submissive (shyness, obedient), mellowness, responsive to children, fear/response to loud sounds, easily startled, etc. These are the differences that help me find the best home for each Yorkie . Please contact us for in depth explanation of how personalities develop in animals. We have yet to hear from a family that their new pet was not the most perfect pet for their family. This again, is due to the way we raise our pets and the process we use to match puppies to their new homes. We take great care in how we raise our pets, socialize our puppies, and the quality of our dogs bloodlines we use in our breeding program. The way you raise your Yorkie in your home will also effect how it behaves and one of the main goals in my breeding program is building a relationship with my families. Our babies are loved and cared for while they are with us in my family home, and I enjoy getting to know my babies new families. It brings so much joy to my family to have our extended Uptown family to keep in touch with. We even baby sit our babies for folks when they are going out of town on occasion.
